The design history of the modern 1:1 fake Rolex Air-King is somewhat perplexing. How does a simple 34mm time-only watch, originally intended for World War II pilots, transform into a piece inspired by an instrument gauge from a supersonic car attempting to break the land speed record? It wouldn’t seem too odd if this watch was part of a completely new model line (Speed-King, perhaps?), but continuing to label it as an AAA quality replica Rolex Air-King is certainly an interesting choice. Despite the unusual journey, I actually consider the Air-King ref. 126900 to be one of the best modern Rolexes available.
Unlike most models in the Rolex catalog, the perfect replica Rolex Air-King isn’t a product of incremental, evolutionary changes over the years. If you compare a Submariner from 50 years ago with today’s model, the differences are minimal, and this holds true for the majority of the brand’s models. Not so with the Rolex Air-King super clone online. If judged by appearances alone, older Air-Kings, especially the ref. 14000, resemble a modern Oyster Perpetual far more than the current Air-King.
The Swiss made fake Rolex Air-King’s dial features applied luminous markers at three, six, and nine, along with printed numbers in five-minute intervals, giving it a distinct pilot-esque look despite its landlocked origins. Without knowing it was inspired by Rolex’s partnership with the Bloodhound SSC project and its instrument gauges, it would be easy to see the Air-King as a good ol’ flieger-inspired watch. The Air-King is definitely a pilot’s watch.
My thoughts on the Swiss super clone Rolex Air King’s history aside, I find it to be an oddly phenomenal-looking watch. It has the same “professional” case as the GMT-Master II, including crown guards, but without any functional bezel, which might be a first for the brand. It’s essentially a time-only watch, but the parade of numbers on the glossy black dial, along with the green accents on the seconds hand and Rolex moniker, make the Rolex Air-King super clone for sale stand out more than most models in its professional range (excluding the factory-set iced-out pieces and the models showcasing Rolex’s new playful fascination with colors and emojis, of course).
The more popular Rolex replica watches online, like the Explorers and Submariners, are cool and all, but they’re quite common where I live, and probably where you live too. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but as someone who considers themselves unique, I’d naturally gravitate towards something like the Rolex Air-King super clone PayPal. I think it’s cool to wear the world’s most popular watch brand’s most unintentionally strange watch.
